Cool

Like the song and singing, and the whole feel of the intro, but needs some work on the other elements to bring it together; a nicer distorted guitar sound (as in less distortion, some comp + eq), bring the bass out a bit, a more defined ending and defo needs some drums, but overall good, all the hard work's already been done so :) well done!

dariaband responds:

Thank you very much for your constructive review :D! Yes We're going to record drums and other lines ;D ! We're just looking for drums and bass^^

Epic! Sublime!

Outstanding. Really.

Everything about this track is good, the arrangement really works, the writing is good and the mix is excellent! Good vocals too, god I wish I could sing >> There's only one thing I don't like, and that's the autotune + pitchshift effect towards the end of the vocals, doesn't really fit n detracts from the sheer awesomeness of the song. Well done!

Pushbar responds:

You have a point there. Since i was going for a prog rock kind of style i tried various effects, but i guess autotune didn't fit the style.

Thanks anyway ;D

Minimalist

Very good, I like the simple feel, and later on the contrast between that simplicity and the drum rhythms. The production fits well, doesn't sound over produced, very natural (as natural as synths can be anyway >>). One thing I absolutely hated though was the second chord you used in the sequence, just doesn't fit the key of the piece to my ears and made my stomach lurch every time I heard it lol. Apart from that, good work.

Another great piece of work.

Well done! Not sure about the racecar sound, and maybe a little bit FX heavy on the vocals for my taste, but the rest of the song works really really well. You have a really good feel for this type of music, keep it up! Love the guitar sound.

Oh my...

Something quite brilliant, unique and wonderful. I liked it for the first minute but the vocals really just blew me away. Production wise, it's very harsh on the ears, that could be cleaned up a little with some slight eq and compression and still keep the feel, but apart from that quite wonderful.

Drum-tastic!

Absolutely loved the drums, the bells were nice too. Wasn't convinced by the synth chiors but it's not like any of us have access to a group of professional singers, eh? >> I wish. Strings and horns were interesting too, but I have to say the drums were the best part by far. Good work.

Echo responds:

The drums are brilliant i have to admit. But synth choirs? Those are East West Symphonic Choirs, the best choir VST you can ever get so far. Admittedly i cant use them that well yet, but effectively, i do have access to a group of singers, they're just on my computer instead of in real life. :|

Well anyway, tks for the review ;)

Darklight17

Great.

You have a great feel for arranging, fits beautifully together, build ups are really nicely done. The star of the piece is the second piano run at the start and repeated towards the end. Couple of marks off for clips and pops in production, and over all I would have wanted it to be a bit longer, giving more time to let the key components more time to come through. If I'm completely honest, would love to hear much more of the solo piano; could listen to it all day.

OOGABOOGA CHIMES!

That's what I think about when I heard this track >> bit weird but, hey, you asked for a name >>

gabredi responds:

Yeeaaaahhhh... Not quite... But thanks for trying.
I don't like that review score :( Hope you actually liked the tune.
Thanks for the review!

Very Good

Reminds me a lot of an anime series called Noir, especially the first half. Enjoyed the piano and drums. Well done.

Sublime.

Really well thought out piece, nice production build up, like how there's lots of low at start, but brings in some more mids and highs in the last 3rd. Would have liked a... bigger isn't the right word for this track but it's as close as I can come in describing it. Bigger ending, more of a release for the natural build up of the track.

I like Music (listening to, seeing live, working with, recording, producing, playing), web comics, tattoos, good friends, pretty girls, reading, gaming, cooking and sleeping. Also have a strange sense of humor... More than willing to work with others!
